Don't panic! Be smart about your asthma medication
My e-mail is buzzing. "Have you seen the news about Singulair? Are you worried?" The short answer is, "No, I'm not concerned at all." Taking the medication as prescribed and reporting any signs or symptoms that are concerning you should enable you to be a smart, not scared, consumer.

Community Corner

Undoubtedly, the FDA has a very difficult and complicated mission, but the biggest question for us is whom do we trust? The FDA? Our doctors? Consumers in online chat rooms?

This Week's Asthma Poll

Are you thinking of stopping Singulair?

Your options are:

  • Yes, I don't want to take any chances
  • Yes, my doctor told me to stop taking it for now.
  • No, my doctor told me to keep taking it.
  • No, there's no reason to stop taking it.
  • I'm not sure yet.
